There are several options at NWAV40 to promote your programs, products, publications, and events. This special anniversary edition of the world's premier conference in language variation and change will attract leading researchers, rising stars, and the brightest students in sociolinguistics from across the globe. Attendance will be further increased thanks to the conference venue: Georgetown University was home to the first NWAV conference, in 1971, as well as the world's first sociolinguistics department. Washington, DC, is a world-class city that boasts a vibrant linguistics community and many exciting historical, cultural, artistic attractions, as well as culinary and entertainment adventures. We anticipate at least 400 attendees, and excitement is building every day. We encourage you to purchase your advertising early, to ensure the visibility you deserve.- Place an advertisement in the program book. The 81/2" x 11" program book will contain the conference schedule, site maps, and a full set of abstracts.

Send an electronic copy of your advertisement in pdf or tiff format (300 dpi) to nwav40@gmail.com. - Include a flyer in the conference registration packet ($75). Please send 500 hard copies of your flyer.
- Showcase your product, program, or event for the duration of the conference via a prominently placed promotional display. We will reserve a 5'-long rectangular table for a standard display ($500). If your display requires supervision and you cannot send a representative, we can provide this service for an additional fee of $300.
Please submit a mock-up or description to the NWAV40 Organizing Committee prior to submitting payment and final materials. Advertisers are responsible for providing return shipping for any materials that they wish to be returned.
